August Luncheon: Moving from Diversity to Diversity & Inclusion: It’s more than HR – it’s PR
August 17 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Companies are embracing diversity in the workplace, and are increasingly moving from “just” diversity to diversity and inclusion. Business leaders are striving to create and maintain an inclusive environment for their employees, as well as enhance the reputation of their companies, both internally and externally. Diversity and inclusion entail more than human resources – these initiatives are paramount to effective PR and a company’s overall success.
August is designated by PRSA as Diversity and Inclusion Month, a great time to learn more about diversity and inclusion and their impact on PR. Join the Central Ohio Diversity and Inclusion Committee at the August luncheon for a lively and insightful panel presentation. Moderated by PRSA Central Ohio Ethics Officer Gail Saunders, APR, the panel features notable, diverse leaders who epitomize diversity and inclusion in the Columbus community and have successfully incorporated both diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Panel members include:
- Elaine Roberts, President and CEO, Columbus Regional Airport Authority
- Todd Corley, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, OhioHealth, and Founder of The TAPO Institute
- Ani Palacios, Editor-in-Chief of Pukiyari Publishers, and Author
